An important category of modern pharmacology research is to discover and verify new drug targets by using frontier technology of life science and pharmaceutical research methods. Crispr-cas9-based gene editing technology can be used to mutate, knock out, silence or activate genes, helping pharmacists find potential drug targets more efficiently and accurately. This seminar will introduce the fundamentals and applications of this technology.
