Mudi Meng Honors College Carried Out the themed aesthetic education practice activities

In order to enhance the aesthetic sentiment of students, appreciate the profound historical accumulation of Nanking. The college organized teachers and students to carry out the themed aesthetic education practice activities.

In this activity, teachers and students visited the he Oriental Metropolitan Museum. The museum mainly displayed the ruins of the Wall of The Jiankang Palace and cultural relics of the Six Dynasties, showing the style of Jiankang City, once known as the two centers of classical civilization in the world. The exhibition hall of the Six Dynasties Museum is divided into four units, namely six Dynasties Imperial capital, Looking back at the Six Dynasties, Six Dynasties style and Six Dynasties people four exhibition halls, containing 1,325 cultural relics exhibits. The exhibits include cultural relics reflecting the clothing, food, shelter and transportation of the people of the Six Dynasties, porcelain, terracotta figures, epitaphs, architectural components and stone carvings of the six Dynasties, as well as the remains of the walls and large drainage facilities of jiankang City.

Take history as a mirror, we can know prosperity and change, the culture of the six Dynasties not only left many artistic treasures and historical relics, but also painted a magnificent picture of history and civilization replacement for the students. The purpose of this aesthetic education practice activity is to let students feel the culture of The Six Dynasties in Nanking closely, let the elegance and splendor of the six dynasties become students' memory and yearning for nanking, this charming ancient capital, and improve their aesthetic and art appreciation ability.
