The museum mainly displayed the ruins of the Wall of The Jiankang Palace and cultural relics of the Six Dynasties, showing the style of Jiankang City, once known as the two centers of classical civilization in the world. The exhibition hall of the Six Dynasties Museum is divided into four units, namely six Dynasties Imperial capital, Looking back at the Six Dynasties, Six Dynasties style and Six Dynasties people four exhibition halls, containing 1,325 cultural relics exhibits. The exhibits include cultural relics reflecting the clothing, food, shelter and transportation of the people of the Six Dynasties, porcelain, terracotta figures, epitaphs, architectural components and stone carvings of the six Dynasties, as well as the remains of the walls and large drainage facilities of jiankang City.
